Evolutions Selected as a Vendor by Washington University Physician's Network

St. Louis, MO, October 8, 2004 - Tom Long, President and CEO of Evolutions, a leading practice management and medical billing solutions provider, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, announced recently the company has become a vendor for the Washington University Physician's Network's (WUPN) Group Purchasing Program. WUPN is an Independent Physician Association composed of the faculty physicians at the Washington University School of Medicine and over 500 independent physicians practicing in the St. Louis metropolitan area. A partner with Evolutions in this venture, and also a WUPN vendor, is Catapult Technologies. Catapult Technologies is a leading Information Technology solutions provider in the St. Louis market, and will be the exclusive interface for the introduction and implementation of Evolution product technologies.

The Evolutions/Catapult partnership will provide two product offerings to WUPN community physicians.

The first is a web-based IDX GroupCast medical billing system which also includes the Ingenix Claims Manager™ used for claims scrubbing. This solution allows a physician's office to access Evolutions' software via the Internet with a secure, HIPAA-compliant connection and do their own billing for a fraction of the cost of purchasing a system. The second offering is a complete medical billing solution where the physician's practice outsources its billing services to Evolutions.
